Error code P0122 TPS/pedal postion sensor
Gentlemen, new to the forum and Dodge trucks for that matter. Just got a 99 2500 long bed QC 5spd. CEL on with code of P0122 Pedal position sensor/TPS. You guys have any suggestions for me? Ive cleared it a dozen times but it keeps coming back. Any help is appreciated.
no other symtoms, I was just gonna run it till it takes a shat. I unhooked the batteries overnight and reset the CPU, is that reset procedure you are talking about? I am only getting about 12 mpg around town, is that normal? Also just pulled the codes again and got P0122 again but included P1690 Manufacturer Control Auxillary Inputs/Auxillary Outputs whatever the hell that is.
It's odd that you have no other symptoms than the P0122 code.
P1690-CKP SENSOR DOES NOT AGREE WITH ECM CKP
SENSOR
perhaps your crankshaft position sensor is the real problem here...
here's one APPS reset procedure... there is another one but I don't have the link to it.

and 12 mpg sounds low...
