Was called in today they pulled the head to make sure no gasket was in there but wanted to show me three valves on cyl 6 had a little play even after putting new ones in 20k over.they said this was normal wear and if I wanted they could send head to a machine shop well I dont have money or time so they are putting it back together. Also they took vp44 to a different place and they said it was out of time. Still saying it should be done tomorrow.

I have never even seen a valve .020 over! Normal wear?!
Just how much is all of this costing you on a 500.00 quote? I think you need a lawyer, seriously. If you have lost business because of this and you can document that fact then you need to get an attorney and take this place to court. They owe you a hell of a lot of money. AND a new engine! They are the ones that admitted it ran fine before they played with it and something they did caused the problem. Now they are trying to turn that around to make it your fault and problem. GET AN ATTORNEY!!!!!

Finally have my truck. Still getting a few drops of oil at the vac pump which I didn't have the money for. looks like its wet were the injectors screw in so I will have to keep an eye on it. They added 1400 to my bill for the fuel pump, inj pump, injector tips etc and will trade for lawn fertilization so im not sure if its fair or not.

Ummm......NO it's not fair! They should be paying YOU!!!! There is no way that an oil leak caused this much of a mess with the mechanical aspect of the engine. I'd seek an attorney as others have stated. That's just a bunch of bull.

So you paid 2000.00 for a 500.00 quote for an oil leak repair. It still leaks oil and now there is something wrong with the engine. You have lost customers and money from your business and this guy wants to deal in trade. No way in hell!!! Get an attorney, get ALL of your money back. Also get back lost wages, lost future wages from the customers lost, aggravation and above all the attorneys wages. Do NOT give him one bit of restitution because if you do then you have thrown out any chance of recouping your money. I do not know why you are protecting this guy so much. I will say no more on this subject.

The oil leak it still has was a seperate repair for the vacuum pump seal. I didnt have the 270 they wanted for that repair. I will contact an atty and see what they say. I watched the guy test the fuel pump it wouldnt push fuel but then again I wasnt having issues before.

Everything is documented here.

You basically wrote a diary.

I would have NEVER paid them anything.

You really need to call an attorney.
