Wont idle, new parts, why?

I'm sorry to say it, but I am about out of ideas.

It's gotta be something basic like the timing is way off. At this point it would be a good idea to pull the front cover and make sure the gears are liined up right.

I've heard that putting the throttle shaft one tooth off makes it not rev up, but idle ok. I'd try tuning that shaft some more and see what you get. Usually stock setting is 1 down-4 up on the left side of the clock. That's what I have mine at. Fuel pressure gauge would help you the most, I think.

ooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk! I broke down and took my truck to a diesel shop and they said that there was a plunger stuck in the pump...........me not knowin enoug about the pump needs some insight on this..........


what can yall tell me about the truthfullness and how hard is it to fix?

If they mean the plunger in the pump head, then you got a bad pump when you got the new one. Any warranty on that?

Im not sure on the warranty, a buddy bought it awhile and back and didnt use it then sold it too me so no telling on the warranty...
