Have we pulled/tested the injectors yet? And tried to fix the leak on #3?

No no yet, ive been outta town for my 21st bday

But I should be gettin to it today, the "urgency" factor is back since my buddy wants to drive his 475 horse 65 mustang for the first time but my truck is in its path.

How would I test an injector? and would that be making my truck run this way?

Also I have read about "throttle shaft index" and when I had my pump off I pulled that shaft out and I think I put it in the right way but how would that affect anything?

Because the throttle shaft has a foot on it that the spring hooks to.
If the shaft is indexed wrong, the foot is too far in the wrong direction and moving the throttle actually decreases the tension on the spring as if you released the throttle to idle - or below.

When I put in my spring I indexed the shaft so the foot was facing straight at the gov. That's the lowest setting for engine speed. Then I checked that turning the shaft to max would allow the foot to almost touch the IP body - ~ 40* - 45* total movement. That way I was getting all the pump could give.

I also trimmed the spring 1 1/2 turns and re-bent a 1/2 turn to provide a hook to connect the spring to the foot of the throttle shaft.
I can rev ~ 3800 - 3900 rpm before you can feel the fueling cut back.

Ok so I havent gotten to the injector yet but I did mess with my throttle index a little bit, I took everything off to get to the throttle shaft and I turned it ccw till I felt some tension and then put everything back on. We still had to to start the truck with some starting fluid and it would only run with wot but then I let off and it seemed to idle for a little bit on its own.

Ok so I have made some progress, I messed with the throttle index a little bit and it helped, I think I did a few too many splines.......but neways heres whats goin on....

Well still have to start it with a little fluid then it will run on its own but it idles very high so I ran the idle screw out and it idled down normally!

So now my truck will idle!!!!! but then it wont take any fuel, if you do it very slowly the rpms will start to come up (kind of) but If you do it just the least bit quicker it kind of falls on its face and smokes white smoke......

And all the leaks have been fixed except one, the throttle shaft, I pulled out the shaft when I had the pump out and put the a new o ring on it..........anything else to seal the leak?

But most of all what is the next step?

How is your supply side fuel hooked up now?
Do you have any way of testing the supply pressure?
And don't want to beat the horse but is it good diesel fuel?

And yes the diesel is good.

Is it still runing like it was in your vid? Rough, white smoke, etc? Or is it idling OK but just won't take throttle? If it's the second one, go a notch tighter on the throttle lever.

Its idling "ok" , When you try to give it gas it will put some white smoke.

If you hold it to the floor its bogs and smokes white, but if you very slowly give it fuel it will go up maybe 300 rpms.

So I would say its idling better but not nearly as much smoke at idle but its not running good. I took it out the shop today and idled around in 1st but it would take any fuel and then I tryed to shift into 2nd and it about died.

Also this fuel leak I still have comin from the throttle shaft, I put a new o-ring in but its still leaking, is there sumthin more to put in?

What do yall think about the Thread I posted about the sleeve being put in the wrong way?

I don't see that happening two pumps in a row. It's basically doing the same thing it did before you changed pumps, right?

Well no, its running better than it did before I put the pump on. Before I would bleed the injectors and it would run for about 30 seconds then shut off.
