what a shame

To day I went to pick up a trans kick down cable for another 90 1st gen .the salvage yard just got in a new 89 w250 they said the owner was ticked drove it in and junked it! they gave him a few bucks for it.they told me I could see what I needed its loaded with goodies
Banks intercooler kit. I/C core support & rad gear venders body was strait lots of good parts I ask if they would sell the whole truck but he said he wants a lot for it because of all the good stuff it has. when I bought the 91.5 for my son.stackx2 it was in way worse shape

That is a shame, what did he want for it? Someone must have had it a long time and got tired of all the small maintaining you have to do with these old trucks. Or he's towed with it for years and got tired of the newer trucks passing him buy.......

It would be a sweet deal for someone though. I hope the junk yard hasnt gone and gotten a salvaged title on it yet. That kills the value even if there's nothing wrong with it.

It's amazing what someone will do when they're off. I junked a 72 Demon years ago when I went through 2 motors in less than a year...still regret that one.
