Any shame in ordering an SL model truck?

Are there any reasons why people dont order more SL model trucks?

I know that there is the fact that the grille isnt chrome, but its not that big of a deal to paint it. I know that there are more other SLTs and Laramies than any SLs.

So, if I was to order a brand new truck, why exclude the SL option package. I mean, it is cheaper.

because more people are using these as daily drivers and not just work trucks. At my Uncles ranch they have an ST with a flatbed for ranch work. Both my uncle and my Cousin also own nice SLT's for there personal rigs because they are so much nicer

The industrial look of the SL looks better to me. I know I'm in the minority here but I'm much more into function than fancy looks and I prefer the vinyl floor, black grill and steel wheels. I have an SLT because of the convenience features. BTW, if anyone is selling any SL wheels, let me know.

Because Dodge forces you to order an SLT to get power windows and some other things. They don't offer a good hose out interior with convenience options.

That's mine to a tee: vinyl floor mats, black grill, steel wheels. I didn't want all the power stuff, and I'm perfectly happy with mine. (And the $10,000 I saved!)

Biggest thing I would want is Air Conditioning. After that Roll'em up yourself windows, no power locks, and rubber floors is fine with me...

I don't think you need to "order" a stripped model ST. Just go get one.

Yeah if it had A/C, Cruise Control and comfortable seats I don't see the reason why not to get an ST package if it's a work truck.

I have a ST that I ordered, cloth seats $110, tow Group $275,
Auto Tran $1,095, Anti spin $285, Crome Grille and Bumpers, $95
Speed control $250, Stereo CD $125. I didn't want windows,
Diesel engine $5.555,I have AC but it's listed as standard Equipment
not as Optional, Order truck with anything you want and still save
money.

Where I buy my trucks at sells alot of them. Not sure where you are from but it can be seen at www.woodhouse.com and they have way more than what is on the net. They are the biggest dealer around. Miles of cars and trucks.

they are a pain... that and no power mirrors in my truck. Mine's a hybrid... no pw/pl/pmirrors, but it has chrome grille, a/c, cd player. Whatev, I like it.
