Man, you did one heck of a great job on that truck...

The floors rot out because of two reasons.... The cowl develops a crack in it, and then the water accumulates under the floor mat / rubber rug bottom.

When the water cant get out.... you experienced what happens...

Great job.. love the truck, and someday I'm going to build me a short bed version of yours, except 4x4. Shorten a 250 like a few of the other DTR members have, and it looks really cool.... but with your bed style on it, would make it the machine to plow snow with.. It will ride harsh, because of the shortened WB, but IMO would really be fun to drive anyway..

Thanks for sharing your ride with us....

I say leave the Dodge name off. Only Cummins. Dodge outsourced decades ago. They need to be punished for that.

Leave the tailgate just as it is.

The visor will look good on your truck since you have an old style bed. It'll give it an "old school" tinge.

I think I'm gunna run with silver window tint on mine.

I've always wondered how a chevy stepside would look on a dodge and it's pretty good on the 81 up.
