Hey Cows,
You can see the pix I posted: 0 degrees that morning. The only no-start I've had since 95 was at a trailhead for 3 days when it hit 40 below.

Put the summer tires on it and gave it a bath. Gathered up my spare parts for a yard sale.

You do know everything you sell or give a way you will need as soon as it's gone, That's murphy's law!

Geno's is where I ordered mine.
I have them on a few of my 5 speed trucks

I just remove the top PTO bolt hole to fill from, using a squeeze bottle.
Yeah those things work great! I installed one in winter of 2012. No overheating hauling the next summer in 100+ weather

I am taking "inventory" on nuts, bolts and washers. I hate to get started on something and find that I am one washer short.
I am also working on a new shackle design.

I have old coffee tins full of nuts, bolts, washer, screws, clips, etc. Been hoarding them for years. Every vehicle I part gets stripped down of all the fasteners and hardware. Plus if I'm walking around and I see a fasteners laying on the ground...I pick it up.

Those pieces come in VERY HANDY!!! I probably raid them on a daily basis when I'm out working on the crewcab.

We have a lot like that too I am just getting some new grade 8s for the suspension.

The railroad used to park empty car carriers on a nearby siding. I used to walk the decks. talk about a gold mine of bolts nuts and all sorts of things that fell off the new cars.

In my youth I worked for an industrial dry cleaning plant. They cleaned all the coveralls, floor mats etc. I had to service the dryers every night, and got to keep all the hardware I found in the screens. I used to leave with my pockets bulging with treasures. I'm still using stuff today that I hauled home back then.

Broke mine today ! Water/meth turned on by it self on the way to work full bore, looked out the mirror to change lanes and had a huge white cloud pouring out the exhaust. I thought might have lost an injector but upon stopping it laterally stopped the motor. Turned the key on and heard the pump running, switch was off so I cut the power wire to it. Put my ratchet on the crank and sure enough it was hydro locked. I let it cool down for about 30 min and tried again going back and forth, got it to move freely so I unplugged the fuel solenoid and cranked it for a few revolutions. Plugged it back in and started it to a while to clean up the smoke, but still had a miss and slight "tick" . So I pulled the radiator cap and sure enough it was pushing air in the cooling system. At the very least head gasket, possible I scuffed a piston from the blow by it has now and the tick.
