We've gotten maybe 6" of snow total so far this winter at my place and temperatures have been at least 10*C warmer than it should be. I just plowed the driveway and yard the other day for the first time and that was not really even needed.

In Arizona we are so hot that we have lost about two months of cool weather on each end of fall and spring. I am the lucky one because I had cancer that fried my thyroid, which is the thermostat of the body, among other things. In my case I was radiated in October/November so that my thyroid is stuck in the cold position so I don’t suffer too much from the heat. As a matter of fact I prefer it, but I do know that most everyone else suffers. We had 58 or 59 days of weather over 110 a record, with the highest being 119. Surprisingly we had a relatively cool June, which is our hottest month normally, but we suffered August and September. I am really positive on most things but I can’t be on this. Mark
I have a good friend that lives in Oregon along the Little River, a really beautiful spot. Well, it’s flooding in the entire state right now and I haven’t been able to contact him. So it seems that we either drown or cook, great choices right?

Here in Okiehoma we actually have winter but not so much as it gets annoying. It's mostly hot in summer but quite pleasant in Spring and Fall. This evening it's 48F outside but we did have about 1/2 inch of snow a couple weeks back. I have a big and growing list of things to do on the truck as soon as it warms again. Hopefully I'll get them done before I die then maybe the wife can sell it to one of you fine fellows to work on.

I like it when you get tornados at Christmas 🎄 that happened in 2016. I was at dad's.

Tornadoes are mostly in the spring here. When I lived in FL we had them year round. The bigger problem is ice storms when supercooled moisture in the air collects as a sheet of ice on everything. Threes lose limbs and power lines go down. We keep the propane tanks full to run the electric genset and the pantry stocked so we can stay home when the roads are to slick to stand on let alone drive anywhere.

Back in the 90's Brentwood TN had a tornado on Christmas. People got killed. I lived large amounts of my life in Florida. Thunderstorms weren't scary. I feared them for the 2 years I lived in Ada Oklahoma.

Looking to have 2 weather fronts come through here tomorrow. Straightline winds is forecasted in my area. Warm, and cold fronts mixing it up. Hopefully West of me.

Today I

Added a grid heater timer and removed my grid heater push button. I also programmed my remote start to wait for the pre heat light to go off before it starts the truck. Changed the headlight switch, and installed new purple LED dash bulbs.

Man I'm loving that truck! What size tires are those again?

I used mine to haul home a Dodge 360 with a Holley 600 and headers + an NP435 4 speed for the ol' M880. Going to do a conversion, when I get time...

Those are 285/75/16. I tried to order some US mag Indy wheels but they wouldn’t fit so I have a new set of MT classics in the shop. Once the tires get here, it’ll have 33x12.50x17 Sailun RTs.
now I have to figure out if I want to polish it or not in the spring.

That's one of the sizes I'm considering for my next set. That and 235 or 255/75s. They look good I think.

Delayed remote start after the truck runs the pre-heat cycle... If you'd told that to the engineers that designed that body style, they'd have looked at you like you were speaking Russian. If I had half the money (or even all of it for that matter) to buy a brand spanking new truck, I'd take the money and do something very similar to what you're doing.

Go 33”. They look right without much lift. I had an 06 diesel. It was junk compared to this 74 with the 12 valve.

Stripped her down to change the tappet cover and clean it up. Sanded down the rocker covers to get them painted up to match my Chev that’s going to be sitting on it.

You should check that back core plug to make sure it's not about to rust through.
