I do know it's for the one on the top back.

Went to UPS today. Picked up my Stage 3 Dynomite Diesel nozzles. Didn't realize they came with the injector needles. I guess I can swap them into my DAP 5x12 remanufactured Bosch cores.

They buy blank tips and machine them themselves. (The blanks are made in Brazil.) I was warned to keep the nozzles and the needles together as they are lapped together for a better fit. They do have 4 holes+2 super tiny ones closer to the tip.

Don't ask how big the holes are as they don't seem to give that info out.

IIRC the supply a thinner shim than normal to get the nozzle further into the combustion chamber. I need to mic them to be sure.

Guess I've been a bad influence on my soon to be Son-in-Law.. He decided recently that he wanted a 1st or maybe a 2nd gen so he has been trying to find one within his budget, and I have been looking as well. Well I sent him a link to a pair of 1st gen's about a 4.5hr drive from my place that I thought would be a good deal if they turned out to be decent trucks. He contacted the seller and they were still available so yesterday I hooked up my trailer and buzzed out there in Patches with him and my daughter to check them out.

This one is a 2wd auto and was being driven regularly up until last year and other than some dents and him wrecking the drivers door it was in pretty solid shape, think it has around 325K km's on it.

The other is a W350 Clubcab with a Getrag and 3.54 axles...been sitting for a couple years, another drivers door that is destroyed as well. mileage is 587K km's and due to a bad starter does not run.

He brought it up out of the lower part of the farm and into his shop,

Then with his huge overhead crane just lifted the front of the truck up and then lifted the back with the Kubota and I backed under with my trailer,

Loaded and ready to go...

He got a screaming deal on both trucks IMO and we are going to get the chassis and drive train sorted out on the W350 then swap the body over from the 2wd, but in the mean time he'll be driving the 2wd.

Those trucks need some love!

The 2wd looks exactly like my 4x4, sans dents. The W350 looks exactly like the truck I was going to trade it for at one time. Eerie.

Looks like a lot of wrenching fun and the birth of a twin Patches!

I have loaded a LOT of non / barely running old Dodge trucks on my trailer, but have never lifted a complete one up in the air and then backed my trailer under it. Creative to say the least.

Two big thumbs up on the new project[s]!

A club cab, dually 5 speed 4x4, is a nice truck to be building. I look forward to hearing about the build.
I am going out on a limb here...but I would say you are a great influence.

I took out the OEM overloads last year and installed some airbag overloads I'd had sitting in the shop for probably 8 years. Had about 40lbs in the air bags.

I'll try and get him to sign up here and keep a build thread going, or at a minimum I'll take pics of the work being done and post up a build thread myself, since all the work will be done here at my place and shop.

I already showed him the Sticky Archive and he was looking through all the great information and projects within.

I removed the wrecked door and tossed on one of my spares just to keep the weather out of the truck...
