Man, oh man, does it run good. Fueled up, added some fuel additives, a pint of new 10w30, and she runs unbelievable. Smooth as silk, more power than ever, and gave me a boner when I was driving it..... alone
(shhh ! Don't tell the wife I got a boner. She'll just get all mad and tell you no ! )
lol.
Mr. Mocha loves the brick. He gets part of a donut every time we go out in it, so he either chews a rawhide while I'm driving, or gets a donut chunk. What a life, eh ?
You folks already know my opinion on this, but I just wanted to say a bit cooler is a lot better than rusted out. I agree with Oliver Fo’ sho’. …Mark
Ya'll realize that AF has different meanings in our current "hurry up I have no time to type or speak the words world" !!!!
Especially when it in the title with "Straight" in this day and age!

You know the difference between a boner and a bonus?
Your wife will blow the bonus.
I am checking into getting a used PCM(?) from a '93 manual truck. Would it work in an auto truck? And what's a good price for buying a "pig in a poke?"

I dont think it will. The Auto PCM tells the OD when to shift.
Well I'm looking at no more than$25-30 for the tailgate trim panel. If you have one for that let me know
yeah no big deal, just grab an oem grill and a tach while you're at the imaginary parts store.
In other news scored this at the boneyard the other day. 1 step closer to a nv4500 swap. Behold the double pedal of destiny.
I don't buy into the thinking that plain dodge trucks should have superbee/roadrunner pricing. Not that rare and I've had no trouble finding the parts I need reasonably priced. Of the hundreds of thousands of trucks of that era parts trucks are still plentiful specially round here.I just bought a 90 right fender with mouldings and grille surround, excellent front bumper with brackets and guards, inner wheel housing no dents or rust, washer bottle. cummins air filter housing, factory stereo, complete perfect new take out in 90 bench seat same color and pattern as mine all for $350.And I thought that was a reasonably priced. Last time I had to buy the tailgate trim panel was a few years back sitting on a swap meet table at PIR $25.I've never felt it necessary to gouge fellow enthusiasts. However you might.

Better make sure you grab that clutch hydro bracket while you are there. That part is just as hard to find as the pedals.
