I used to take my Catahoula everywhere with me. On Saturdays we'd go to the bank to deposit my check. The tellers would always send a treat back so she would get a little anxious when I'd pull up to the drive thru. Didn't take but a couple times, they figure it out pretty fast.
Got the brick ready to plow for tomorrow. Moved all the trucks around and took the,box out to pick up a door for the powder coating co. Stopped at Dunkin Dognuts and got my kid a donut. He's a little short, but still tries to drive whenever I take him out. No way can I ever go anywhere with him without a donut coming about
When we have our dog (Mastiff/St. Bernard) with us and go through the Tim Hortons drive thru we always get her a "doggie Timbit"...she knows it's coming and the drool starts pouring from her mouth.....funniest if a daughter is in the back with her.....
Finally put a “muffler” on my truck. I went with a 4” Thrush Rattler. It seems a little more tame in the driveway, but I have yet to drive it, since the last 2 ours of install were in the dark as it was. Put the 7” stack back on too. Hopefully no more black tailgate, or drone in the cab above 55MPH. Still need to make a water/cargo shield inside the bed.
Why do my hands look like this every day?

Hey, I think that with a 4 inch exhaust a muffler might actually make it sound better. When I let my inner teenager get the best of me and drove my truck before I had the whole exhaust on it was pretty raspy. The stock exhaust sounded deeper when I drove it with the muffler cut off. Now with the Diamond Eye muffler my truck sounds worse at idle, even though it is quieter and makes the neighbors happier than the stock exhaust did, but sounds like a complete big rig when under load or really any throttle. Passing walls with the windows down is my favorite! And I think that is the way hands were meant to look at the end of a good day!
Agreed. We had 3-4" at my house, and for most of my customers, it was same. One house is at a higher elevation, so that was closer to 6".
Problem with snow here, vs up north, is that it was primarily mixed with rain, so it compacted, and was about as heavy as concrete. My shoulders were killing me, and I didn't shovel very much. I would love to have "light, fluffy, snowfalls", but it doesn't happen often.
Started at 5 yesterday afternoon, and walked in the door at 2am this morning. A light day, as usually it's 12 hours plus. I've "Fired" some customers, as I don't take kindly to being taken for granted. They can stick their money where it doesn't shine very often.
I have a late 90's Ford diesel converter with about 12 one inch holes drilled all the way through, and up sized to 5 inch on both ends, it is amazing how quiet this thing is, I have 4 inch past the t-case and 5 from there on out to a 6 inch semi stack cut off as a turn down, I fit right in the camper world..
what........it's what I had laying around the shop when I needed something.

Had a few days of rainy chill weather. Hazy skies today and supposed to rain on Saturday and most of next week. I get nostalgic for the snow sometimes until I see people slipping and sliding around on the news.
Personally I don't like beets. I prefer avocado's which is good since we have a tree in the front yard. Got 2 fig trees in the back and a pomegranate tree in the front. Sue makes fig jam but she hasn't figured out what to do with the pomegranates yet. We have a Fuji apple tree that's producing but it's still small. Planted it a few years back.
I worked on the truck yesterday. I'm still trying to figure out why the charging voltage is all over the place. I guess I'll check the ground on the alternator next. It makes no sense from a DC standpoint. I'll have to bring out the OScope next to see if there's something going on with the AC waveforms.
