I love it when a plan comes together and actually works.

Well got my VE pump going found out when my grandson took it off the main fuel line screws/bolts got switched so not enough fuel was getting to it. Switched them and it runs great. I had it rebuilt after I broke the fulcram lever. they put a new fuel pump inside and bench tested it. All of this happened when we installed the new 3200 spring and fuel pin. I can tell the difference in how it runs here in the city. Gonna give it a good test this weekend. Going to the desert down sout and get a large load of rocks for landscaping around the wifes new flower beds. get to go on long straight aways and best of all over a mountain. should be a great ride and decent test.

Well that is not a diagnosis I'm happy to hear..... I will try and get a vid posted up.

I will try to get the motor to make the noise while parked, but cracking injectors at 1500-1700rpm is going to be messy..... Better make sure to where sealed safety glasses for this one.

OK here's a vid...not sure how it will sound to you, but the sound your trying to hear is like poorly adjusted valves, or injectors rattling? Sounds like multiple things making the noise, not just one thing.

Well, that doesn't sound right to me.... so now I'm going to have to go and replicate your video with my own, and do a side by side comparison.

Did you uprgrade your valve springs ? Just curious.....

Sent him the video link. Will let you know.

I will run my dodge in that RPM range on the highway, and see if I can get a video, so I can compare.

Beer engineering for the dodge..

Could have bought one, but this was more fun.

Needs some expanded metal for traction, or I might go with step tape... To be continued...

I didn't invent it, just copied and built/ modified to my needs. Thank you.

It works for all us short guys out there who weigh over 230 lbs, as the cheapo ones on Amazon only hold about 200, or so,they say.

Grade 8 bolts should hold my fat **** up without snapping. Changing a fuel filter will be a breeze now.

Overhauled my rear brakes and all the brake lines. Truck stops way better now. Especially since the passenger side didnt even work. I am going to have to try loosening the star adjusters because after my test drive both drums were smoking. Uhg...
