That looks like a good set of all around sneakers for your truck.
Very similar looking tread pattern to the Nittos I put on my RC.

Back home yet?

Yep made it home. The truck had those nitto 420s tire on it. They were ok. I've had good luck with the toyo tires. I used to run them on my Jeep Wrangler only they were the mt not at and were 37's

Tires and rims look good.

I must be getting old, as the aggressive, knobby tires annoy me when I'm driving, with their humming sound. Next set, I'm buying regular street tires with high volume siping for good traction during heavy rains.

Humming noise ( to me anyways ) Takes away from the wonderful rattling of the lump...

Lol

Hey, Dan, I'm curious, as I'm ignorant when it comes to wheel/tire combos, offset of wheels, capacity rating and all that stuff. Papecat schooled me awhile back, but at the time of "class" it was actually poor timing, cause other major problems arose with the truck. Long story short, I ended up giving away a nice set of wheels to the kid that loaned me his cherry picker.
Wheel weights- my wheel weights are on the outside of the wheel. Didn't think about those much, till a good friend gave me a nice set of custom wheels off of his DuraMax. The wheel weights were adhesived on, on the inside of the wheel, when I purchased new tires for the truck. It happened to be perfect timing. New tires, and new to me wheels!

I had those put on, along with a new set of rubbers, then I had this howling noise come about(another story). While under the truck searching for what could possibly cause that howling noise, I looked at the set of tires on the front end, at the insides of the wheels. The tire shop had glued the weights in a specific spot for the fronts, to clear the calipers. My thought process at the time was, what happens when I rotate the rear tires to the front, were those weights aren't strategically placed to miss the calipers, like the front wheels were? The weights will pop off the minute my tires role forward. That also meant I'm at the mercy of having the tire shop do the rotation, which I didn't like. I verified by swapping one front tire with one rear, and sure enough, I could not slip the wheel onto the lug nuts all the way back, cause the calipers bumped into those weights. Anyway, those were the wheels that I ended up giving to the kid, for loaning me the picker.

So, where are your wheel weights placed at? Will the rear wheels and their weights clear the calipers when you rotate the tires? What about you, MKnittle? I know you just got some new shoes- are your wheel weights internally mounted, also? Was there something I was missing, measurement wise, that I should have checked, before accepting the free wheels from my DMax buddy?

Mine are on the inside. But they also are 20 inch rims. Clearing the brakes is not really a problem. I could see that with a set of 16 inch wheels though

Yeah, mine were 16's. Hey, Dan, you see that pic I sent you, of the back of a VE pump where the injection lines terminate? It's in your Rod Knock tread

O-ring? If your talking about the leak being at the injectors, and if you're talking about that square cut rubber seal on top of the injector hold down bolts, that's just a dirt seal, not meant to hold back pressurized fuel. If your dribbling fuel, it's coming from the injector line inverted flare female fitting, or the injector isn't sealing at the copper washer inside the injector hole. Cinch down the injector hold down bolts to 44 lbs. foot, and then tighten the inverted flare nut down s'more( not sure on that torque value), or better yet, loosen, make sure the flaired end of the injector line is dead nuts over the injector, then cinch down the fitting. Also, make sure the horse shoe shaped copper sealing washers on the fuel return line aren't the culprit. Those are meant to be a one time use. Sometimes if you're lucky, they'll work a second time around, but has never for me.

Are you talking about rebuilding all six injectors?

It's bubbling out of the injector lock down nut. Yes on the all six. To be honest I'm not sure what injectors r n the truck. Assuming there stock. I tried to tighten it but no luck

Today I installed new bushings and shackles on the rear springs, a rear wheel seal and changed the oil, and fuel filter.

I took the white crew out on the road tonight for pizza with the daughter for the first time this year.
It was good to get the Vanilla Gorilla out of the shop.
It seems to be driving pretty well after the Dana 80 swap. Though I may need to readjust the rear axle pinion angle, as there is a little vibration that seems new. It was super cute to watch the puppies get all excited as my daughter and I prepped up the crew cab. They know that the crew cab is basically the dog limo..

I cut the rotted PS cab mount and rotted part of the floor pan out. I got the new floor pan section welded in on 3 sides.
