Nice work as always jimbo... Looks too nice, actually...lol

I spent the last couple days out in Ohio visiting a factory for one of the products I sell. Took the brick on a 1200 mile trip. I wanted to see what kind of real fuel mileage it would get on a 500 plus mile hike. This is my results

Traveling at 75 to 80 mph I averaged 17.643 miles per gallon

On the trip back, I had to go slower as in my previous bout of stupidity, a couple years back I purchased summer only tires of which I was traveling on in 45 degree weather during 6 hours of rain. My average speed was 50 to 55 mph, as if I went any faster, the truck hydroplaned into the other lanes. My butt hole is still quite sore from its attempt to pull the seat fabric into it as I drove the first 6 hours home.

Anyway

Averaging 50 to 55 mph over the 500 mile tank range I got. 19.416 mpg

Needless to say, my life is more important than the " maximum fuel mileage tire " brainstorm I enlisted myself into back then. I'll be replacing the bologne skins in the near future for some all seasons

What a day! It started out with a bowl of honey nut & *** ants. then the dog halked up a lugie and spit it on my leg. After that I made up another brake line to replace one that had a flare that I didn't like the looks of.

Installed some h4 conversion headlights. They have white halos on them, couldn't get a picture to turn out with the Halos on but I like them. Was worried they would look ricer

I have them wired into the park light circuit, they are so bright it's ridiculous. Here's a better photo when it's a bit darker

So, I stand corrected.

I have the Hella h4 headlamps, but not the led halo type

Must be nice at night, plus the safety factor of DRL s.

Bad looking ride, man

They are brighter then my sealed beams were!

One more thing that was needed was to trim the bucket to allow the bigger headlight to fit in
