Upgrade turbo originally 94+ cummins

I need some help in figuring out an aftermarket turbo. I deal directly with BD here in Canada and was on the phone with them today regarding there BD Turbo systems. They make one for the 94+ trucks but don't recomend it for the older 12v because they havent tested it. The specs are 4" outlet 12cm w/g turbine and a 64mm comp wheel. This is a large wheel and I will need some fuel to spin it but I have a Bully dog fuel pin and BD 40hp injectors coming. What things are different between the older/newer trucks? Are there other pieces I will need to buy? I have a banks intercooler coming so I'm not worried about that. Also i realize i will need a piston pump probably soon as well.

You could also call Piers Diesel - www.piersdiesel.com. They are also in BC.
Your '89 has the baby-H1C which only has a 3" air inlet if I'm not mistaken. The 91.5-93 intercooled trucks have a 4" inlet. Also, the non-I/C trucks have a 2" outlet to the intake, but none of this makes any difference with the aftermarket turbo and intercooler.

I don't think you'll have enough fuel to run that turbo. With the fuel you'll have you'd be better served with a hybrid.

If I go to the DDP 75hp Injectors is it possible I will have enough fuel. I just dont think the DDP injectors are much bigger then the BD 40hp injectors. I talked to BD and their 40hp non i/c are the same as their 60hp intercooled injectors. As far as DDP go their 75hp is compared to the i/c injectors as well so that is only 15hp more then the BD's. How else can I bump the fuel enough to supply this thing.

It would take a lot of fuel to spin the 64 wheeled turbo.

Just got off the phone with the turbo tech guys at BD this morning. It turn out the salesman was a little confused as the BD Super B turbo I was looking at is actually a 12cm w/g turbine w/a 56mm extended tip comp wheel. Looks like this thing will actually spool awsome with some fuel upgrades without having to break the bank on monster injectors.
