non I/c injectors vs. 190's
non I/c injectors vs. 190's
I can get both for almost free, my ? is, which are better flowing (bigger) for a 1991.5 I/C CTD. Will the 1990 injectors flow as much as a set of Bosch 190's? I can have the 190's new in the box, but I would have to pull the others from an engine that has 150k on it.
Reguardless, would the 190's allow more fuel versus the nonI/C injectors??
In case anyone gives a poop, I got a new job that pays HUGE, so I will be asking alot of ?'s shortly, since I now have the $$ to make this ole truck Wanna-worthy.......

190's and non-I/C injectors are pretty close as far as power output is concerned.
Enough said then, thanks for the info.
I planned on going with the 190's since they are new, but I was wondering about the power outoup vs my dads 1990. He still has a virgin pump, but it seems to flow way more than mine. So the 190's it IS!!!!
P.S. Next is a turbo upgrade.....
Dang, this slope IS slippery.....

Yep...full-on vertical cliff face here. The free fall seems to have slowed and I appear to be resting on a very thin ledge right now. I can see the rest of the way down from here...and my bank account and wife are nowhere to be found!

That's assuming that you can get the 190's for dirt cheap, or that you're going to be satisfied with "only" 300 horsepower. Otherwise, it'd be better to save you're money for some bigger injectors.
What are you're ultimate power goals? You don't want to buy injectors that you're going to replace in 3 months on you're quest to 400, 500 or 600 horsepower...
