DDP 40 hp injectors vs Bosch 190's
Don't know about the ddp's but the 190 is a good clean inexpensive injector. They claim the 190 makes it's power by atomizing the fuel really good and putting it where it needs to be in the combustion chamber. I would expect the seat of the pants feel between the ddp's and bosch to be pretty close.
I changed to 190s when my stock injectors went south at around 125K. They haze just slightly at idle. Not sure of mileage as my odo only works when it wants to
.
With all the mods below I get 25psi boost easily and they say thats roughly equal to around 250hp. But I don't think I've ever had to rev over 2500rpm (If I did I wasn't lookin). My auto eats up a lot of those ponies but I can pull 10,000-14,000 pounds of hay/beef/boat/metal OK.

I was told by Mark at PDR the 190s are identical to the 185 of old, only 1/3 the price now.
Superior Ram- are your 190s a 4 or 5 hole tip? If 4 hole, they are likely from a marine application- cheap and popular with some shops. If 5 hole, they are the "original" 190s.

At one point in time, I was able to get 244.2HP and 611.1ft/lbs torque on #2 using PDR 190 injectors. That's with the VE set up for minimal smoke.
An economical and efficient injector IMO.
