Truck wont crank up!
What the title says... Ive bothered with this old engine... It doesnt even start with ether!
Truck used to start hard in the morings but good when warm,
now i changed injection pump, now it wont start at all! Theres fuel at each injetion line, and while cranking it smokes blue/white. So i got fuel.
Could timing have went wrong while installing the pump? i didnt pin it at TDC.
Any help is very appreciated, gotta have this truck done for thuesday!

Well if you've got fuel then I'd say it has to be timing. But I don't know anything about the procedure for changing out the injection pump. Another possibility could be injectors are in bad shape. My dad has a 93 and anytime its under about 50 degrees or so, it hard starts and could smoke out half the town. Once running and warm, it runs pretty decent but I know it needs injectors badly.

actaully its not a "new" pump its a stock replacement pump off another cummins from a junkyard, The pump is completly stock, (fuel pin, fuel screw, WOT stop screw... etc so i believe it should be all right!
i'm looking at the "pump swap tips" thread. i believe its timing, also thought about injectors, i can get those for like $90 for all 6, used also!
BTW the KSB on this new pump has kinda shaped cone, the other (yellow) pump had a cilinder style cone... and this is an intercoled engine!
The wire that connects to the solenoid on the ford, has power all the time, when swtich is on and engine running (warm) is that right?
