Transmission cooler lines

Has anyone rebuilt this with new hose? This is off a '93 with A518. I'm wondering about the 2 90* upper hoses, if there's formed hoses available for this. I was surprised that it's all in decent shape. The upper connections were seeping. It's only 27 years old. I need to add 3" or so to get clearance to a new radiator. That's a whole nother story.

I went to auto parts store and they had some hose the same size that i cut to length they had 90 degree bends in them. I plan on making all my lines AN braided lines eventually.

Why are seemingly simply things so difficult? Parts guy at local NAPA says to drop it off because Ernie can probably do it. He can't, only does hydraulic hoses. Says take it to XYZ radiator 20 minutes down the highway, they can do it. I'm gone 12 hours a day, so the missus takes it in there for me. He can't crimp those bands on the "H" because it's too tight. Sells the missus a bunch of hose clamps and heater hose! If he had looked at it at all he would have seen "transmission" on each piece of hose. Good grief. As far as sourcing those 90s in TOC hose, yeah right. If I had a part number then maybe they could handle it, but probably not.
So, once I get the correct hose, I'm thinking of eliminating everything except the "H" and then double hose clamp those 4 connections. I figure Ma Mopar used crimp bands to reduce the potential for leaks. I also read a long time ago that there was some purpose for that "H".
Good grief.

Double flare the steel ends, double clamp like you said, and you should be good.
Oil resistance hose, it'll never get hotter than 300 degrees. Not sure how much pressure there is, but not much.

My lines are weeping in the same place, and I've been meaning to replace them.
When I search for parts I see a solid core line that doesn't look right

Here's Napa
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NDP8...nsmission+line

RockAuto has a little more detail
The same hard line but listed as Dorman
Hardline
Then there's this one that says it's a 12" hose ??
12" Hose

AutoZone has the same pieces as Rockauto

I don't trust any of these

What I say in my head almost every time Napa hands me a part, before I decide to just use a 30 year old used part that looks in better shape then the thin, carppy part all new in the box they hand me.
Things like the transmission mounts that I recently refused to install as they where hard as rock. I even ordered them from several vendors...none where better than some well used 30 year old ones. It is amazing.
It is a real struggle to get a decent replacement part for some things.

You would think getting some decent transmission lines would not be too much to ask.

How many 6BTs are on the road? Why cant you get a core plug at a local auto parts store? The local Fiat dealer had one, yes one, for $10.
I'm needing at least the lower transmission bushings. I let it leak for way too long. So nobody sells decent new ones?
Around here you don't find these trucks in U Pull It yards., not even gassers and rarely Ramchargers. So used parts are scarce.

That NAPA cooler line is a "deal special", buy 2!! Holy cow
That Dorman hose looks like it would work for the upper connection and those could be banded.

The new Anchor [IIRC] transmission bushing I got from Napa where rock hard rubber and Geno's garage poly ones where rock hard too.
I guess they would work, but they might as well be made out of aluminum for the amount of flex and give they have.
Lots of vibration will pass right through them.

I just got a length of 1/2” transmission hose from Napa. Took me 10 minutes to install.
