I got the 92 truck from my dad it has a toggle switch. when on the overdrive works & when off the OD does not. The wire that goes from the toggle switch to the transmission area has broken off and the OD does not work. Does anyone know where that wire might go.

The OD solenoid is on the driver's side of the trans.

Does the OD work normally when the toggle is flipped, or is it a manual override?

 

I would like to say it is a manual override. But I do not know for sure.
