If you have a 15 PSI electric pump set up for your line size then starvations shouldnt ever be an issue. It feeds the fuel you need when it needs it.

 

I think you may have some numbers mixed up.

The 3936320 pumps on all the trucks that I have messed with hold a steady 14- to 17-PSI .

I believe the 3936316 2nd Gen. pump is the one that holds 30-PSI or thereabouts.

 

I put a piston pump on the 93 and I noticed quite a difference in Topend power and ALOT of smoke cleared up!!

 

I got the same results from a Carter electric, 4601HP IIRC.

I want to avoid using electric pumps because I don't want to rely on an electrical system. But the 4601 is at the top of my options list.
I'm also researching information on using an air starter.

I considered installing larger fuel line was part of the pump deal any way. So I didn't mention it.
