well a few months a go i pulled a seat out of an 02 that was leather, power and heated thinking it would drop right in and was wrong so i made new mount for the seat and got the power seats working but didnt have time for the heated part. This week i had time and found the right pins to make my harness and wired it up boy must i say how nice those seats on a cold day so glad i spent the extra 20$ on the heated seats

 

My cloth seats are all beat up from hopping in with a screwdriver etc in my back pocket. How much did you get the seat for? How about controls for heated seat, where did they end up? Cloth seats are more comfy IMO, but leather doesn't seem to rip as easy, and as long as they're heated no probs in winter.

 

i was able to find the switches in the wrecked truck and mounted them right under the seat on both sides so i can easly hit it i cut a piece of plastic so the switch can slide in and bolted it to the seat base i found a wireing diagram and made the harness and found the short in the heating element so it works great i payed 180 for the seat whick i thought was a deal he had a cloth one out of a 97 for 150 but i had cloth in my truck and the new 6 way power seats i think are way more comfortable.
