Finally drove my truck with a regular 6 blade 60/65/16 hx-40 and it is sweet!! I had the GDS 8 blade 60/60/16 hx-35 prior, and it doesn't even compare. Spool is the same, but if you think the GDS 60 whines, the 40 whines 2x that! And so far haven't seen over 1200deg, haven't towed yet but am looking forward to it!

Man oh man, I shouldn't have read that post.... The wheels in my head are turning....

some how got to get this thing to have boost before its right on the floor . Gilletts said 16 exhaust to spool faster and 60 compressor I,m lost

You probably have a 21 exhaust housing on your turbo which takes your turbo forever to build boost. A 16 exhaust housing will cause your turbo to spool quicker/ build boost. A 60 compressor will give you more air.

I wouldn't say it gives you that much more air, I wouldn't be "writing home about it"

Depends on the RPM. Small housings run cooler than big ones on the low end.
