Ridiculous Emblem price....

Anyone watch this auction about a month ago. I know I'm a little late but was cleaning up my "watch List" on E-bay and came across this one.

E-bay auction # 380764721862

It was a set of "Power Ram 350, Cummins Turbo Diesel" emblems. Price went to almost $250!!

I know these are rare...but I can't say I would ever pay that much for a set of used emblems.

Wow...you were will to go that high! I plan on just making my Power Ram 350 emblems. I already have the "Ram 350 Cummins Turbo diesel" emblems. I'm just going to cut off the "power" section from the "Power Ram 250" emblems I have from the donor truck. Then stick it on above the other emblem. Close enough for this guy.

That is EXCATLY what I did on my black crew.
I used '92/'93 2wd Cummins Ram 350 emblems, with the POWER bit stolen/cut off one of my many spare 250 Power Ram emblems.

I can't recall ANYONE picking it out without being told what to look for in 6 years I have had it emblemed like that...

It is all in what one wants in originality. I once bid 700 dollars on an extremely rare PORSCHE emblem, it was in silver script for early 912s. I ended up winning it for 390 bucks, but I was obviously willing to pay 700. I recouped all of that in spades when I sold the car at a pretty profit. It went a long way to help pay for my Mexico house, so was well worth it. Somethings are so rare that, if you need it, if you want it and you have never seen one for sale before (I had not), you are willing to pay the price...Mark

That's probably because of this thread. Someone had a set....saw what they sold for in this thread...now is hoping to "cash" in.
