return line
once I read where someone had tied the return fuel line right back to the supply of the IP... what did this do to IP case pressure?
had to help with delivery... right?
I want to eliminate return line to tank
thanks

Not a good idea. The injection pump is cooled by the constant flow of fuel through the system. Take the heat sink of the fuel tank out of the equation and you will burn the pump up.

Most likely the plunger will seize in the head once things get too hot.
175 degree fuel flowing through the pump will still cool it acceptably well. A loop of fuel is going to exceed that pretty quick.
Another point I forgot to mention - how do you plan to bleed this thing? The fuel system is designed to purge small amounts of air through the return. You have to get all the air out and keep it out somehow for the truck to run.
