Fuel Return line from Regulator....Vent line?
I will be installing a new holley Gerator pump (150gph at 16PSI) on my truck in the near future. I would like to install a pressure regulator with a return line to the tank. Can I plumb the return line into the vent hose that connects to the filler neck?

Thats ALMOST the way glacier does it. I dont see a problem except that vent line is 3/4 ID. I use that vent line to conect my aux fuel tank.

If that's a gerotor pump its capable of producing alot more than 16psi, use a bypass regulator and not a standard pressure regulator. I plumbed mine in to the return at the engine, I wanted to regulate the pressure after the filters so I knew how much pressure the cp3 was getting at the inlet, not what the filters are seeing. Where you return to tank doesnt make much difference as long as you dont have too much restriction, too much and your regulator wont be able to regulate pressure below what the return lines restriction pressure is.
