leaky vent on decel

A complete gasket kit for that VE pump is about $20.
If you plan on keeping the truck for a while I would recommend to buy the complete kit, use what you need and save the rest.
Then if something else springs a leak, you have it on hand.

Thanks Oliver. I figured I would do just that. Is this repair to the vent an easy job?

what part to replace for leaky vent
Ok. I opened the top of the injector to replace whatever part need to be replaced for the leaky vent. I also removed the vent assembly. I'm a bit confused. Is there something in the vent assembly that I'm not seeing? I'm not sure what part to replace to keep the vent from leaking. Thanks

No start
Dang it ! Just spent all weekend trying this fix for leak at afc vent. Put everything back together, no start. I never referred back to the thread for 366 spring for re-install. Looks like I missed the part about backing fuel screw out before reinstalling!! So bummed right now. Had to call out of work tomorrow and will have to tear pump back down and see if I bent/broke Fulcrum lever.

I did the same thing when I installed the 366 spring in mine. I was able to find a used lever but had to pull the whole pump apart to install it along with a seal kit. Pump leaked then so I had to get a rebuilt pump. GOOD LUCK!
