I assume you don't own a FSM ?

Geno's sells them on disc or paper format.
The FSM on disk I got from Geno's isn't very good. It says nothing about the procedure for Dually front hubs and is mostly about 4WD. It looks as if somebody scanned the paper FSM and made a PDF file out of it. I don't know if it's complete. It's poorly organized and the TOC doesn't have links so finding the actual data you need is a real pain if it's even in there.

Is the paper version better? Are there 2 versions of the FSM, one for us mundanes and one for the actual dealership.

I like the paper version much better as I am not really a big computer, or I Phone guy. I am good for about a dozen Cell phones a year.
The paper version is great for leaving open to the page you need on the work table while wrenching in the shop.
I have a '89, '91, '93, '95 and a '97 FSM in the shop to cover almost all the Dodge 12V trucks I am likely to be wrenching on.

I agree completely.. It's a glorified "Haynes" manual, but it's better than nothing, or getting wrong information from some goomba on the internet....

I purchased a FSM for my Fuso. Now that is even WORSE than the haynes manuals. Luckily it does have specifications, but other than that, it's pretty much useless...

You keep posting FSM manual pages.
You read the manual?

Turn in your man card.

The wiring diagrams are the most helpful to me but even those have some errors in wire colors. In tracing the speaker wiring after the PO thoughtfully cut the connector off was a real pain and I still had to resort to a continuity checker to get it right.

I did !

Wife cut it off, and stuck it in a box on the top of her closet shelves, almost 30 years a go...

In the computer industry, we have an acronym called RTFM.

I watched a YouTube where someone was centering the new drum to run true with a big hammer on the drum. He said there was enough slop in the stud holes.
Is this SOP to center the drum within 0.005?
