Rear Skyjacker springs

I have a 92 W250 4x4 extended cab and I put the 2.5 sky jackers on the front and man what a difference in the ride. After feeling the ride difference and looking at the rear springs i think they need to go. So to get rid of the 6inch blocks in the back I need to get the SJA-DR60S sky jackers correct me if I am wrong.

Looks like those are the 6" lifts springs. If you're looking to keep the same height while losing the blocks these should be your springs.

Did the front springs raise it much? How many leaves are on them compared to the stockers?

How does the truck sit with those 2.5 springs, Level or nose high? So you say it rides a lot better with those new front springs? Also, did you measure befor and after you started. DId they give you a full 2.5" or a little less. Those Dr60S springs are the ones you want to get rid of the blocks.

The nose is a bit high but I think they will settle esp if we get some snow and they get some plow abuse. It rased my front closer to 3 inches but the stocker were on the bump stops. I would like to raise the rear a bit like a inch or so but I am pretty sure the rears are saging some so i was thinking the rear sky jackers would be perfect. I tow alot and hull a ton or so on a pretty regular basis will these sky jackers hold up?

If the stockers were fatigued so bad that it was sitting on the bump stops then anything that got it up off of them would be an improvement.

I just did the same and considered the rears from SJ, but opted to ad a leaf and re-arched the factory rears. Rides a little better, but not what I was hoping for.

I am interested in how well they hold up to the plow. I rearched and added two leaves to mine to hold a Blizzard 810. It initially rose 3 " but has since settled at 2.5". With them and new Rancho front shocks it actually rides pretty good, relatively speaking.

i pm'ed ACE as he has done this lift he said that he had to put airbags on in order to haul heavy loads... i also have been researching the 2.5 and 6 inch rear to rid my truck of lift blocks. i roll across the scales at 8500pds daily. i need air bags maxed @ 100 psi with the stockers to stay level

Sounds like you need the triple leaf factory overloads. I think they were rated for 950 lbs.

I have the 4 inch front and 6 inch rears, with 2.75 blocks to get the truck level. I would not haul without airbags. I've dropped 1600lbs in a few times, and it does drop enough, I think they will sag over time, but I don't haul that much so I'm not too worried. They have been on the truck almost 2 years now, and the rear can be a little stiff without some weight in there, but switching from the factory bench to factory buckets made a HUGE difference in ride quality.
