Leveling kit on top of skyjacker springs??
Leveling kit on top of skyjacker springs??
If I did this what would I have to do as far as control arm linkages? Could I just get a steering stabilizer? I already have 2" leveling kit and a rear-add-a-leaf, so I figure if I can get another 2-3" of lift out of doing this and maybe some 2" blocks in the back I will have something that looks as high as the skyjacker 4.5" system, but for 1/4 the money. Oh and my truck doesn't do any serious off-roading just serious on-roading.
You'll probably have to go with an adjustable trac bar, or a trac bar drop bracket. With that much lift, the stock one will cause the axle to off-set to the driver's side. You'd probably have to go with longer conrol arms too, but I'm not sure about that. Seems like the stock ones would have alot of angle to them.

I'm thinking of doing this soon
I want to level the truck, so D25 springs, or spacer.

Soon, I want a new front bumper and winch.
So, I was thinking of going with the springs for current levelness.
Then, if the bumper and winch sag it down too much, throw a spacer in to bring it back to level.
(might only need a 1inch spacer instead of a 2 incher)

If this setup still has it level, I wouldn't think I'd need to mess with any other components, since they don't need to be replaced with just a 2 inch spacer.
Right?

phox

(I know eventually I'll have to replace the track bar, and then I'll go with either a DT or Lukes Link, or both)
