Ramcharger Tank in 1st Gen

The Ramcharger I pulled mine had the two end members "rivited" to the frame, the middle one was "rivited" also but did not support the tank, it just reenforces the frame.

The truck frame doesn't need the additional frame support, and you can make the straps out of scraps. Just remember to use some kind of padding between the straps and the tank, and between the tank and anyplace it touches the truck on the top. Wear holes are bad! I'm going to wait until my brother is not home, then relieve him of his Ramcharger tank...

The stock trucks had no support padding, they just bolted up tight.

How are you going to go about filling the tank?

Put a filler in the bed floor, hidden in the fenderwell, ect..?

I've seen boxes that have the filler mounted in them. You just cut a hole in the fender and mount the box in. Yeah its not as clean as the factory filler but it works.
