I've finally got my new truck. I picked it up Monday. It's a 1992 W250 with an automatic (the second truck I mentioned in the other thread I had going). As far as I can tell, it is stock, except for what the guy claims is a "Factory Installed" Banks Power Pack (it also has the Banks emblem on the side, right above the Ram emblem). I don't know enough about these trucks yet to know what to look for under the hood (or elsewhere) to verify what the Banks kit includes. It also has an auxillary transmission cooler (right behind the drivers side, underneath). Here's the pic from the trucktrader.com ad. I'll post more pics when I get a chance.

 

Sweet truck--you should be proud! Maybe the banks kit was installed right after it left the factory...either way, it's nice to have some go-fast goodies right from the git-go

see if you have the 14.5 wastegated exhaust housing and/ or the 3.5 inch exhust system.

 

Just out of curiosity, is a badge to put on the truck commonly included in something like the Banks Power Pack? That's the only thing that's throwing me.

 

Companies do throw in stickers to promote their products. You should be able to notice the Banks pac prety easly. It will have a new air filter and I think the power pack comes with a new intake too ( can't remember. I must say that is a nice truck. Put on some big exaust and let that puppy roar! ( make sure to take the topper off)

 

Looks solid.

If it has a wastegated housing you got the top-end Banks kit - that would be nice. If not, you just got bigger exhaust and a free flowing air filter.
