Quick turbo question

Will a hx40 16cm exhaust housing fit on an h1c. Looking to do the 60mm compressor upgrade but would like to go to 4" exhaust.

Do you have access to the whole HX-40, or just the housing?

just the housing , were you thinking just go with Hx40 instead of upgrading the h1c

Yeah, you'll be happier in the long run if you upgrade your turbo to newer technology. Most people don't stay stock for long, and thats about all the H1C is good for, even with the 60mm comp. wheel upgrade.

It will bolt together but it won't work real well.

at what point in upgrades / hp range should one consider going with the hx 40 instead of the 60mm compressor upgrade

Any injectors bigger than 190's (or stock non-intercooled injectors) should get a bigger turbo like an HX-40 or one of the S300 based turbos.
