There are many different Fleetgard filters that will fit.

Myself and many others prefer and highly recommend the StrataPore series, LF16035.

I'm using the Donaldson and I'm very happy. I think there are 3 or 4 grades of filtering media.

Baldwin for me, for all filters- oil, coolant, ATF, and fuel.

At the start of each year I buy 4 oil filters, 3 coolant filters, 3 fuel filters, and 2 ATF filters, all from Kenworth.
I'm sure there are other brands way better than Baldwins, but if Kenworth is putting them on their big rigs, I'm okay with that.

The LF-3972 is the 6.7 filter, will work fine on our trucks, I run the Baldwin filter listed for the 6.7 on mine with no problems.

Not a lot of choices on oil filters up here. Also depends on what the barges bring in. I've been using Napa 1607's on both my Cummins lately, because those always seem to be in stock.

Years ago I bought a case of 12 Purolator L44422 filters. I've used 2 of them so far. I haven't seen any external issues other than the spillage when I take one off. I'm going to try the plastic bag trick next time.

I have started using Baldwin oil, and fuel filters as well. Was using Napa Gold before, but the price for those up where I live is outrageous!
