I just aquired a 92 x-cab 5spd duelly. I didnt know much about it before i picked it up yesterday, so i thought i was getting a donor rig. To my surprise it was a complete rig, minus the bed. It runs like a top and sounds good, the body is straight, and it has nearly new tires. The odometer reads 185,000 but the speedo is broken, so who knows. It has been repainted, kinda gold/ brown, but with wax and a polish job should look ok. I heard it had a new injector pump before it was parked .? Oh, did I mention it was free? They were going to haul it to the dump, " it's old" they said. I guess some folks dont know what they have.

Thanks, but I'm gonna have to hold on to this one. As soon as I do a bit more cleaning up and checking it out and get a bed on it I'm gonna put it to work.

Yeh I think it's probably a better truck than my other. I am feeling a little nervous, I never have luck like this, it'll probably burn to the ground tonight. Thats more my kind of luck.

Oh man, thats awesome! I wish I could find another rig for under 2K! Even one that need a lot of elbow grease! think i know where one is, now i need the 2K lol

Nice! Usually when I find these for sale locally people are either trying to get a fortune for them or are ready to give them away. I almost never see them locally though, midwest salt had its way w/ these long ago.
