Following a traffic stop two officers were gunned down by 2 males there were reportedly members of a white supremacy group in Ohio. The two suspects fled the scene and were later located at a Walmart. A second shootout wounded two more officers before both suspects were killed. Prayers to the families from here.

West Memphis Shooting takes the lives of 2 East Arkansas police officers. While the Memphis officers were doing drug trafficking duty on I-40, they pulled over a white van that had Ohio license plates. Surprisingly the men pulled out AK-47s and shot the two officers. The son of the Memphis police chief, Paudert died at the scene of the shooting, while the other officer Evans died later at the hospital.

After the Memphis Shooting, traffic was backed up while law enforcement of Memphis looked for the suspects in the shootings. Later the white van was noticed in a close by Wal-Mart parking lot. After dozens of officers swarmed the white van, a battle between the suspects in the Memphis shooting and the police officers ensued until the suspects were gunned down.

After the second Memphis Arkansas shooting, the county sheriff and the chief deputy were both wounded as well. Condolences to the families of these deceased and wounded officers. These men risk their lives for us everyday and we don’t even see the risk they are entailing.

It really is a tragedy to have the lives of these fine men gunned down. I can’t even imagine a scene like this Memphis Shooting with two guys for whatever psycho reason pulling out AK-47s and shooting up officers. And these crazies decide they need to make a stop at Wal-Mart! What?! Wal-Mart? Just a horrible incident!

West Memphis Shooting has Ohio connection

CLINTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -- An investigation of Ohio public record shows the Arkansas shooting could be linked to a White supremacist group here in Ohio.

New Vienna, Ohio was the home of the Jesus Christ Christian Church led by a self proclaimed white supremacist-the Aryan Nation church and its leader Ray Redfairn made headlines 13 years ago.

The van involved in today's shooting was registered to the House of God's Prayer -that address 143 West Main Street in New Vienna. Clinton County, Ohio records show the New Vienna property owned by something called the Universal Life of the Good Shepherd Church. It has an address 50 miles away in Middletown, Ohio.

Butler County records show the Middletown property owned by Hoge and Mary Tabor. A man named Hoge Tabor from Ohio is mentioned in a book about the Aryan Nation-- Tabor told us on the phone that he owns the New Vienna property, but then hung up the phone.

Yes it is. I was listening to that coming in this morning, but they did not say it was an extremist group, not that you couldn't guess. Your info above made it to the presses already. Now tell me they don't trey to influence the story to make a buck? Sorry to go off topic, but happens too much to the LEO community.

I wonder what the bigger story is in all of this. What would compell these guys to go to those kind of measures? What were their plans or what did they possess that caused them to go to those lengths? I wonder if we'll ever get to know? I would bet those officers thwarted something big without even knowing it. Man, what a complete lack of respect for law and of life.

intel listed has years of disputes/law enforcement with the father. lot of personal comments about taking his freedom, being reined in, everyone else getting a free ride on his back. sheriff told of talk with him 13 years ago and stated he was a wild loose cannon for any law enforcement (uniform).

L O T of tipped mental stressed dudes out there just like this- PLEASE Law enforcement guys PLEASE PLEASE never let your guard down and watch before you speak! there is NO time constraint on your traffic stop!!! The line against holding back one's conduct/aggression against a uniform has been erased. scary stuff from people who normally would not act in that capacity.

the movie "falling down" is so true, socially now. good guys or bad for targets unfortunately.....
