metal flakes in oil

When I chaged my oil I noticed some small metal flakes in the oil.I put a mechanical oil pressure gauge on. Cold pressures idle 25psi ,full thottle 55psi.Hot pressure idle 15psi ,full throttle 30 psi. I don't have any knocking sounds from engine. Is it time for rod and main bearings? What is procedure for changing rod and main bearings?

If you haven't thrown the old filter away, cut it open and see if there is any filings in that. Are the flakes magnetic? If they are it could be an indication that your Killer Dowel Pin fell out and got into the timing gears. Check the timing cover over by the a/c compressor for cracks.

I don't know how many miles are on engine because speedometer is broken.
I don't see any cracks by the timing gear cover but the metal is magnetic.

Is it like brass or copper looking?

Assuming high miles it shouldn't have any slag or shavings in it from manufacturing.

Oh and definately immediately pull the filter and use some tin snips to cleanly cut it open.

I edited my post above to include cut open the filter... But at any length I'd stop driving it and figure what it is.

We just pulled apart the motor on my friend's civic that had a bearing slowly come apart. Those flakes of metal literally ate the whole inside of the engine like sandpaper on steriods.

I would send a sample to Blackstone labs to perform an analysis, would tell you what could be the problem with the engine.
