Well my truck blew a head gasket so now im going to put studs and make my twins for it. I already have a hx35 and a hx55 that I want to make them with. How well would a twin set up spool with a hx35 with the 60mm upgrade and a 12cm exhaust housing and a hx55g do with 435s injectors? What would be hp guesses on this set up with water meth to add?

O-ring the head while you have it off. What dimensions on the hx55?

Why do I have to o- ring the head? do you thank the twins a water meth are going to make to much pressure for the gasket and the head studs? I havent had the time to look up the size of the hx55 yet.

Should light up real fast with that tiny top turbo. You ought to be able to get low 400's on fuel only and if you spray enough water/meth you will break 450.

So will it help spool faster if i put a 60mm upgrade on the hx35? Would it make any more boost with it?

no and yes, you'll have to decide if the extra 10 to 15 lbs of boost on the top end is worth the slower spool time on the bottom. everything is a trade off with twins

I thought the whole point of having 2 mismatched sized turbos was to have a small one that lights quick and then the big boy to take over when the small one starts making more heat then its worth. If that' s the case then wouldn't a stock size HX35 spool quicker then a 60mm upgraded one? The smaller turbo's function is not high flow,,, is it??

This depends on whether or not you have an auto or a 5-speed too, with the auto, you only have to spool it once -- not such a big deal.

so with a 5 speed it would work better leaving the hx35 stock and maybe after awhile changing from the hx55 to maybe an ht3b if i was wanting to do sled pulls and to just play around with.
