Injector washer alternative

Could I hit my injectors with some copper tack and put them directly in the hole with no washer (provided everything was perfectly smooth and clean)?

I think 0.010 would seal.

There needs to be more mechanical strength to the seal than a layer of dum-dum provides.

What are the specs? 7mm hole I would guess, but what's the OD?

If you wanna go cheap, clean the bore up REAL good and try NO injector washer. I know of a couple guys that didn't know to use washers with their POD's and to this day, no leaks.

That's what I was wanting to hear! 'Course, mine will leak, but I'll never be able to tell. My engine has the ebola virus!
