hx-35/stans exhaust

i just got my Stans Headers 4" exhaust. a friend of mine at work is also a bomber if a 94 CTD and happen to change his turbo out and is thinking of maybe just maybe giving to me for a good price or free for X-mas. now my question is will the exhaust housing be the same 3" v-band clamp so it blots right up or do i have to weld something else on there?????

Yes, his housing will bolt on. You will have to do some reclocking and adapting to connect the compressor.

Itll hook up great to a first gen intercooler though . Let me know when you get it. I havent had any luck finding the other boots. But when I intercool mine and go to the 3" tubes, Ill send you my siliconies if you havent got some by then.

Yes its best to. You will want to get an intercooled throttle plate, or create a spacer for the current one (youll see what I mean), and will need some rubber to isolate the fuel lines or bend the ones you have to clear the intake horn in the intercooled location.

Yeah the intake plate is different between inter and non

You will need to find a intercooled plate, air horn...........O, and the injector lines are routed differently between the two............... or have a custom air horn built to fit what you have got now!.......like I'm doing
