Smile stans exhaust review

stans Service and shipping was tops, above average forsure. as to ups shipping, brokerage fees are crazzy! never again will i allow my parts to be shiped ups end of story. product looked good but being a welder i was somewhat disapointed in the quality of the welds on dp ...but hey i just ground it out and rewelded it with a nice tig bead. pieces are not numbered or marked but once on your back cutting out existing pipe you figure it out. one cut was required on my kit.
when i was on the phone with stans a coment was made they make them fifty at a time. well the only real dislike i had with the fitup is that anywhere the clerances get tight the system seems to need a clamp right there, be it the xfer case or the frame when 4 inches either way and there is room to spare.

sound is nice ... from the reveiws i read i was kinda expecting MORE but hey in the long run a little stealth goes a long way ... after cutting out the oem parts i went cruising with just the stock dp lol goodtimes. see i was expecting some bark so if you have a stock strait pipe and are thinking you want bark get the strait pipe kit cause the muff kit is tame forsure

overall two thumbs up cause for 475 i cant build one that cheap. and now i can duplicate and improve a stainless set up with out much under the truck fit up

well the only real dislike i had with the fitup is that anywhere the clerances get tight the system seems to need a clamp right there

I had to grind the clamp some so it has more clearence from the t-case.
Numbering the pipes would be nice.

I went for the straight pipe w/no muffler so this needed cutting and more puzzle work.

Other than that I really like the set up, and stans service.

Like above, I want to see that downpipe!

I just ordered my Stans setup from a shop in WA yesterday. He beat Stan's shipped price by $26. He was told by a Stan's guy that there is a bolt somewhere on the frame that is excessively long and that you need to just put a shorter one in it's place so the exhaust will fit. Anyone know what/where he's referring to? Oh yeah, take some pics please of the tight areas of the install.
