first gen parts compatibility? 91 to 93

has anybody made a list of what parts are transferable from the early non-intercooled trucks to the later (1993) intercooled trucks? I'm parting out a '91 but don't want to get rid of anything i can use. both are 250s/4x4s /auto.

I'd save pretty much everything I had room for. Short of the wiring....the trucks are pretty much all interchangeable. The stuff that isn't interchangeable is usually in demand by someone.

save the wiring, I had saved the wiring on a rolled 93 and was very helpful finding a electrical problem on a 91. gauges did not work and blew fuse, it was easy to follow the blue wire with white tracer along the harness to a splice to 6 other b/w wires in the loom totally undetectable to the eye then trace each out and start disconnecting one at a time to find it. save everything, if you have a turn signal or key problem simply hold the piece up to the steering column and connect it up and see if it fixed the problem

With the adapters you can make the 7mm intercooled injectors fit in the non-IC 9mm trucks. A lot of diesel performance sites have them, even eBay.

He is parting a '91 and wants to keep parts for a '93.
Getting those 9MM injectors in a 7 MM hole will be tough.

Hahaha. I thought about mentioning that, you would need some serious confidence for that job.

The other way is to have the injector tip machined down to 7mm, I've seen it somewhere....just can't remember
