First gen buckets vs. first gen bench?

Found a perfect set of first gen buckets and console from a crew cab. Question is: does my regular cab have provisions to bolt them right in, or will I have to fab up some brackets?

You might have to drill holes on the inside near the "hump" but the outside holes should line up and some bolts for the console. What ever it takes it will be worth it I have had 28 different trucks and cars and I think the first gen buckets are the most comfortable seats I have ever had 10 hours no problem, But I am 5'8" and 200lbs so it may not be the same for taller people.

Hope you are 'height challenged'! Front to rear distance in a reg cab is really snug with the factory buckets. I did this in my reg cab project truck, and re-engineered the seat to pedestal brackets to gain enough rear clearance. I, too, am short (5'6") and it fits me well but the seat is almost all the way back. The inner holes will have to be drilled and you will need to add a brace of some kind to stiffen the floor under the inner bolts.
