ECM what years compatable?
I was wondering what years work with other years.
I am assuming that a manual ECM would not work for an auto truck?
I see they change the wiring harness in '92

So all the ECM are the same '89-91.5
then different again 92-93.
Manuals and autos interchange fine?

The '91.5 is the oddball. All the non-intercooled control boxes interchange though.

The '92-'93 automatic trucks need an automatic PCM.

My understanding is that Auto PCM will work with manual trannys but not the other way around. I'm sure someone will jump in here if that is wrong.
