Where can I snag a cheap black primer? Any painters on here? Does it need epoxy in it?

That's what I found so far but needs a catalyst 1:1

 

western enamel makes some of the lowest price paint, and primer, 35. a gallon for paint, not sure on the primer price, dont buy in california, low voc standards leave us with basically water based paint, all enamels should use cat to harden correctly,some primers dont use it, and rely on the paint cat for stabilization, if your going to primer finish, mix the cat in it

 

My Dad uses the primer from summit racing ^ works good.

 

yeah I'm going to go with summit, quart of black is 16$ and the cat is about the same.. mix them both and it should cover this girl.
