Try to find an old school bus with the 5.9. Blue Bird or Ford are the best bet. I have seen them sell cheap, like 1500-2000. Then you have an entire engine. You need alot of little parts for the swap.
You can gleen the bus and then scrap it and be into the motor and/or tranny for cheap.
I have been eyeing a few older Fords. I cannot swear to it, but the 95 I saw looked to have a powerstroke IC in it. It might not be the exact same thing the pickups have, but it sure looked like it.
