I just removed a screw-in plug (1/8" pipe I believe) on the side of my intake manifold right below where the air intake connects to the manifold and screwed it in there. Anywhere post-turbo will work but I prefer the intake manifold so that I can see what boost the engine is seeing. Just remember to ziptie the nylon line up out of the way so that it doesn't contact anything sharp or hot.

Good luck

The other Jay beat me to it...but I put mine there as well. On mine there is a solid support plate that blocks it, so I drilled a large (7/8 I think) hole in the plate so I could use a socket on the plug and fittings and ran the line thru the hole.

Mine too, the non- inner cooled has the plate to drill through. I put on a grommet to protect the line too.

I couldn't find the plug they're talking about. DUH, it's behind the support plate. So I just drilled and tapped the boost tube over the engine. Works fine, quick to do. Use some plummers tape where any threads are to eliminate leaks.

Had an 89 and a 93 now tapped in to the same plug on the intake-but if hard to get to-tap into the intake crossover to the turbo-take it off though first! Just to add my .02 worth.

I took off the air intake tube from the manifold and drilled and tapped a hole on the side closest to the firewall. Four bolts and a hose clamp, all easy to get to.

That's the spot. But if he's not inner cooled, there is a support plate in the way you have to drill through. The fuel lines mount to it. Conveniently the largest gap between the lines, lines up with the plug.
