Question bleeding the clutch

When my release bearing seized, I was stuck in a VERY unsafe position on the road. I couldn't get the pedal down far enough to trip the clutch safety switch to start the engine in 1st gear to move the truck out of the way, so I pulled the line coming out of the master cylinder. Is there any way to bleed the clutch master/slave cylinder? The dealer says no .... I just wanted to double check.Thanx

There is no provision for bleeeding the master/slave cylinders on our trucks. When I had trouble with mine I bought a slave cylinder from NAPA but didn't have any luck making it work. I finally bought a new one from the dealer - $320.00 for the complete unit pre filled and ready to install. Good luck!
