Anyone know an easy way to add intermittent wipers?

My 1985 W350 is an old Air Force truck...no frills....does anyone know an easy way to add intermittent wipers?

They were stock on my '92. I'd bet that you could adapt the column over from a later model 1st gen and make them work. Not sure what all parts you would need but it shouldn't be to complicated.

Mine had the box on it when i bought it, its really a neat little control. i re-located it to where my cargo light button was (and since i never use it) i placed the box in there, a perfect fit...most people think that its stock

There isn't much late model 1st gen stuff in my area...I've been looking for a core support for over a year, for a grill swap. JC Whitney doesn't stock that part anymore...any other ideas?

Should be easy as a switch swap? My 86 had em. Dont see how hard it could be to make it work properly.

1043 ever hear of a company called LMC they sell alot of the those kinda parts im sure that would be a good place to start..

It is a bit more involved than just replacing the wiper switch/ turn signal lever, you will also need to get the timer module that is tucked under the dash, I believe it is near the light switch.

You will need to check to see if there are unused connectors near the light switch where it might plug in.

Check out a company called "Mill Supply" they sell parts for bread/UPS vans and I have seen intemittent wiper controls in there. Here is their website...
